Faculty trumpet recital to be presented Monday

A trumpet recital with Jessica Jensen, adjunct professor of music, and John Daniel will be presented Monday, Jan. 23, at Ripon College. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

The accompanist will be pianist Wayne Wildman.

Selections include “Quia respexit” from “Magnificat,” by Johann Sebastian Bach; “Allegro con fuoco” from Concerto No. 1 in C minor, by Vladimir Peskin; Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra, by Henri Tomasi; “Burn” (2020), by Adjunct Instructor of Music Paul Dietrich; “The Rite of Spring,” by Igor Stravinsky; “Skovstilhed,” by Edvard Grieg; and Concerto for Two Trumpets, by Erik Morales.
