Henrik Schatzinger shares perspectives on election on ‘WisconsinEye’ television program

Henrik Schatzinger, professor of political science and interim director of the Center for Politics and the People, was interviewed for “WisconsinEye,” a 30-minute cable TV show, for its segment “Newsmakers: A Preview of the Spring General Election Ballot” ahead of Tuesday’s election.

“WisconsinEye” is a nonprofit, private public affairs network delivering state government news.

Schatzinger, along with Dustin Brown, staff attorney with the State Democracy Research Institute at UW Law School, give insight into the election which will include the race for the State Supreme Court and several questions, including two which would change the state’s constitution. Voters in the 8th Senate District will also weigh in on a race that could move the legislature toward a GOP supermajority.
