Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform April 16 at Ripon College

The Ripon College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform Sunday, April 16. The concert will begin at 3:15 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public. Tobin Shucha is the director.

Selections will include “Flourish for Wind Band,” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; “Amazing Grace,” by Frank Ticheli; “Pageant,” by Vincent Persichetti; “Second Suite in F for Military Band,” by Gustav Holst; and “Valdres,” by Johannes Hannsen.

Members of the ensemble, which includes both students and members of the community, are:

    • Flute: Tia Endrizzi ’25 of La Crosse, Wisconsin; Ben Cabala ’24 of DeForest, Wisconsin; Samantha Campbell of Columbus, Wisconsin, who also plays piccolo; Glira De Asis ’26 of Ripon, Wisconsin; and Meredith Thiessen ’26 of Stoughton, Wisconsin.
    • Oboe: Sandy Polcyn of Ripon, Wisconsin, an adjunct faculty member; and Tasi Sanchez, who attends Berlin High School.
  • Bassoon: Ricardo Puente of Ripon, Wisconsin; and Gail Schroeder of Green Lake, Wisconsin.
  • Clarinet: Megan Landvatter ’25 of West Bend, Wisconsin; Julie Waldvogel-Leitner ’02 of Ripon, Wisconsin; Aubrey Meyer, who attends Berlin High School; Angela Mosconi ’26 of Gillett, Wisconsin; Ty Rondestvedt ’05 of Altoona, Wisconsin; Kira Stark ’24 of DeForest, Wisconsin.
  • Bass/contralto clarinet: Emilia Mans ’24 of Princeton, Wisconsin; Kylie Zenz ’23 of Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
  • Alto aaxophone: Ellen Hughes of Ripon, Wisconsin; Alec Marcinkevic ’26 of East Troy, Wisconsin; Hailey Makuski ’23 of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who also plays soprano sax.
  • Tenor aaxophone: Morgan Sullivan ’25 of Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
  • Baritone xaxophone: Megan Steffes ’24 of Sherwood, Wisconsin.
  • Trumpet: Grace Blakeslee ’26 of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Robert Booty of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Grace Retzlaff, who attends Ripon High School; Ruth Roltgen ’25 of Brandon, Wisconsin; Avery Sprader, who attends Ripon High School; Lisa Zemlock of Winneconne, Wisconsin.
