Bob Wallace has new publications in production

Bob Wallace, professor emeritus of biology, has several new papers written with co-authors:

  • “Ultrastructural characterization of the putative defensive glands (warts) in the sessile, colonial rotifer Sinantherina socialis” was published in Volume 304, May 2023, of Zoologischer Anzeiger: A Journal of Comparative Zoology.

Papers currently in press and scheduled for publication include:

    • “Does ‘form follow function’ in the rotiferan genus Keratella?” in press with the journal Hydrobiologia. Co-authors include Ripon’s Samara Kusztyb ’22 and Warren Januszkiewicz ’24.
    • “Fine structure of the retrocerebral organ in the rotifer Trichocerca similis (Monogononta),” in press with the journal Invertebrate Biology.
  • “The undiscovered country: ten grand challenges in rotifer biology,” in press with the journal Hydrobiology.

Wallace also is the emeritus Patricia and Philip McCullough 1969 Professor in Biology at Ripon and an adjunct professor of biology at the University of Texas at El Paso.
