Explore, create, build
We are thrilled to announce the completion of the Franzen Science Center renovation and expansion. This ambitious project, encompassing 68,500 square feet of revitalized space and more than 19,000 square feet of new construction, underscores our dedication to providing cutting-edge facilities for scientific inquiry and education.
The renovation includes comprehensive instrumentation upgrades, new lab flooring, enhanced benches and mechanical improvements. Modernized active learning classrooms, equipped with LED lighting and state-of-the-art whiteboards, create an ideal setting for interactive and dynamic learning experiences. Moreover, the introduction of energy-efficient windows, lighting and HVAC systems, combined with our commitment to offsetting energy use with solar power, highlights our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Science students at Ripon College have been high achievers in the classroom and laboratory while also making important contributions to the community. The new science center will ensure these dedicated students have the facilities they need to be successful in their journey
