C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts atrium renderings revealed, Merriman Field signage to be installed

Thanks to the generous contributions of Ripon College’s donors, the institution has unveiled two new donor initiatives: the renovation of the atrium of the C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts and the installation of Merriman Field signage at Hopp Stadium to reflect donor participation.

C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts
The College unveiled renderings for the new atrium of the C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts Sunday, Sept. 21, at a Friends of the Arts event prior to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra concert in Willmore Center. The updated space will feature contemporary wall coverings and flooring, an open-concept design allowing for improved site lines and innovative lighting to create a bright and inviting atmosphere for students and visitors alike.

The renovations for Rodman are expected to be completed by late spring. Once finished, the new space will better align with Ripon College’s vision for maximizing the space’s potential. Additionally, the renovated atrium will serve as a third-space venue available for campus and community usage. The donors will be revealed at Alumni Weekend, Saturday, June 26.

Hopp Stadium
Hopp Stadium’s athletic field will officially be named Merriman Field, in honor of generous donors, with signage to be installed Tuesday, Sept. 23, and an official unveiling at Homecoming, Saturday, Oct. 4.

Folse said.
