Rally Day #2 Surpasses Goal with an Inspiring Show of Support

Ripon, WI — Rally Day #2 proved to be a powerful day of generosity and community spirit as the Ripon College family came together to exceed its goal of 1,075 donors in celebration of the College’s 175th anniversary.

Throughout the day, alumni, families, students, faculty, staff and friends showed their pride in Ripon through their participation. Support came from around the world, from Wisconsin to Indianapolis, to Washington, D.C., to Guatemala, demonstrating the far-reaching impact and connection of the Ripon community. “Each gift, no matter the size, contributed to a collective effort that reflects the strength and dedication of those who believe in this institution,” Jena Nolan, director of annual giving.

Nolan said the energy of the day was felt across campus and beyond, from student involvement and volunteer outreach to the enthusiastic engagement seen across social media. Special challenges, including the popular “Name a Squirrel” initiative, added a fun and memorable element to the day while encouraging participation and connection.

“Rally Day #2 is a testament to what can be accomplished when the Ripon community rallies together with a shared purpose,” said Nolan. She said the success of the day builds momentum toward the overall Rally Days 2026 goal of $2.4 million for the Ripon Fund.

The Ripon Fund is critical to the College’s success — supporting scholarships, academic programs and high-impact student experiences such as the Career Discovery Tour. These flexible dollars allow Ripon to meet immediate needs while investing in the future of its students, said Nolan.

“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we saw on Rally Day #2,” said Nolan. “To not only meet but exceed our goal of 1,075 donors is a reflection of the deep connection so many feel to Ripon. Every gift represents belief in our students and in the future of this institution.”

“The strength of the Ripon community was on full display during Rally Day #2,” said MaryJo MacSwain, President of the Alumni Board. “To see alumni, families, and friends come together from across the country, and around the world, speaks to the lasting impact of a Ripon experience and the pride we all carry with us.”

As Rally Days continue, the Ripon community looks ahead to June 29, the final giving day of 2026, carrying forward the momentum, pride, and generosity that define this milestone year.
