President Zach Messitte publishes opinion piece about reconciliation after Nov. 8

President Zach Messitte had an opinion piece published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Oct. 29. “Clinton’s Appomattox moment” discusses how Hillary Clinton, should she be elected president Nov. 8, should remind us with clear action that we all are Americans and need to work together to make our country more perfect.

“After a brutal campaign season that has divided the nation, it will be on her shoulders to figure out how to bind up the wounds of the country and find some modicum of reconciliation,” he writes, and the suggests some courses of action that could help her address that reconciliation.
