Student panel on gun control to be held Nov. 28 at Ripon College
“Where Do We Stand? A Student Panel on Gun Control in America” will be held Nov. 28 at Ripon College. The event will begin at 4:15 p.m. in Great, Hall, Harwood Memorial Union, on the campus. All are welcome to attend at no charge.
The Center for Politics and the People is hosting the non-partisan student panel surrounding the topic of gun control in the United States and the implications of legislation and control on the American people.
Meg Carne, special assistant to the president and liaison to the board of trustees, will be the moderator.
Representing a “pro” stance will be DeLou Wilson ’18 of Madison, Wisconsin, an English and music major; and Wyatt McGillan ’19 of Kalispell, Montana, a history and politics & government major, with a minor in national security.
Representing a “con” stance will be Brandon Roe ’17 of Whitewater, Wisconsin, an English major and history minor; and Taylor Corkran ’18 of Ripon, Wisconsin, a religion and politics & government major, with a minor in national security.
