Senior Tara Schultz exhibits artwork in Fond du Lac

Tara Schultz ’17 of Ripon, Wisconsin, is showing artwork influenced by the abstract expressionistic works of Joan Mitchell, Mark Rothko and Hans Hofmann in “Indication” Dec. 7 to Jan. 3 in the Langdon Divers Gallery, Fond du Lac Public Library.

An artist’s reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, in the gallery. Refreshments will be served.

Schultz grew up in a small town near Rosendale and is a senior studio art major at Ripon College. Working mostly in painting and drawing, she explores mediums and genres relating to her studies and welcomes a varied approach to making art.

“Explorations in mark making and application characterize these pieces, which are related through texture and color utilization,” Schultz says.
