Allwin McDonald ’17 presents work at national German conference
Allwin McDonald ’17 of Milbank, South Dakota, was invited to present his senior seminar research at the German Undergraduate Research Conference at Illinois Wesleyan University March 31 and April 1.
It is the only conference of this nature in the nation. It was conducted entirely in German and included a keynote speaker, poster presentations, paper panels followed by questions and discussion. McDonald’s presentation was “Eine komparative Analyse des Einflusses Deutschlands auf neutrale Länder Europas während des Zweiten Weltkriegs” (A Comparative Analysis of Germany’s Influence on Neutral European Countries during World War II).
McDonald is majoring in German and chemistry.
