Ripon College Chamber Singers will perform Saturday

The Ripon College Chamber Singers will perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 22 in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts.

The program will include Christ lag in Todesbanden, by Johann Sebastian Bach. Guest artists will be Mishan Han, adjunct instructor of music, and Xavier Pleindoux, violins; Melissa Lund Ziegler and Alicia Mose, violas; Laura Deming, cello; John Smoody, bass; and Sarah Mahler Kraaz, Professor of Music and college organist, organ.

The choir also will sing several shorter works, including folk songs from Kenya, Cornwall, the Shakers.

Soloists will include: Ryan Krogsgaard ’20 of Fort Worth, Texas; Owen Reynolds ’18 of Wales, Wisconsin; and Keeley Eames ’18 of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

John C. Hughes is the conductor, and Grace Sullivan is the rehearsal accompanist.
