Choral Union, Orchestra will perform April 30

The Ripon College Choral Union and Orchestra will perform Sunday, April 30. The concert will begin at 3:15 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the campus.

John C. Hughes is the conductor of Choral Union, and Michael Lund Ziegler is the conductor of the orchestra. Admission is free and open to the public.

The orchestra will perform “Suite for Small Orchestra,” No. 2, by Igor Stravinsky; and Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished,” by Franz Schubert.

Together, Choral Union and Orchestra will perform “Vesperae Solennes de Confessore,” K. 339, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Choral soloists will be:

  • Erin Mueller, soprano
  • Cori Fredericks ’19 of Appleton, Wisconsin, altoM/li>
  • Owen Reynolds ’18 of Wales, Wisconsin, tenor
  • Sherman Leatherberry, bass
