One Mug at a Time

egorpaperThe Environmental Group of Ripon (EGOR) has teamed with Sodexo Food Services on campus to provide incentives for students to reduce their consumption of paper. Students who bring their own re-usable mugs to the “We Proudly Serve Starbucks” coffee shop in Pickard Commons will be entered in a raffle. Prizes include gift cards, stainless steel water bottles and other enticements.

Paul Meuer ’13, vice-president of EGOR, says the goal of the program is to “reduce waste and consumption on campus.” Students are also encouraged to ask that their food at the cafe be served without the paper bag. To learn more about this program or EGOR, visit the EGOR Facebook page.
