Reed, Sopcak Present at MMLA
Timothy Reed, associate professor of Spanish at Ripon College, and Lorna Sopcak, associate professor of German and chair of the department, recently presented at the Midwest Modern Language Association (MMLA) Annual Conference in Milwaukee on November 7-8.
Reed presented “Specters of Humanism in Buero Vallejo’s Las Meninas and El sueño de la razón,” and co-chaired a panel entitled “Antonio Buero Vallejo, the Interarts, and Other Media.”
Sopcak presented “Art and Artifice . . . am Rande der Mokkatassen: Herta Müller’s Multimedial Poetry” as part of a panel entitled “German Literature and Culture II: German Language Poetry.”
