Schatzinger, Strickler ’17 Present Research in Philadelphia

Henrik Schatzinger, assistant professor of politics and government, and Jason Strickler ’17 presented a new research project at the annual Teaching & Learning Conference of the American Political Science Association in Philadelphia on February 7-9, 2014.

The paper, “Integrating Aspects of Diversity Throughout the American Government Course: Why, How, and With What Effects,” offers political science instructors a number of ideas on how to incorporate deeper conversations about diversity into American government courses.

Schatzinger will also publish an article linked to one of the conference themes—core curriculum/general education—in the July edition of PS: Political Science & Politics, a widely read quarterly political science journal.
