Music fraternity students to present musical showcase April 20

Student members of Mu Phi Epsilon, an international professional music fraternity, will present a Student Showcase April 20 in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts.

Selections will include:

  • Owen Reynolds ’18 of Wales, Wisconsin, conductor
  • “Danny Boy,” an old Irish air, with Margaret Goodwin ’18 of Port Washington, Wisconsin, soprano, and Grace Sullivan, piano
  • Sonata, movement 2, by Arthur Frackenpohl, with Jessica Miles ’21 of Lancaster, Wisconsin, tenor saxophone, and Grace Sullivan, piano
  • “Us,” by Regina Spektor, with Sophie Widman ’18 of Boulder Creek, California, soprano and piano
  • “Joyeuse,” by Rameau, with Allison Pieper ’21 of Kohler, Wisconsin, flute, and Kate Myszewski ’19 of Appleton, Wisconsin, clarinet
  • “O Mistress Mine,” with Wil Bridenhagen ’21 of Neenah, Wisconsin, tenor, and Grace Sullivan, piano
  • “Take, O Take, Those Lips Away,” with Maria Reber ’21 of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, soprano, and Grace Sullivan, piano
  • “Duet No. 12,” by Mozart, with Kate Myszewski, clarinet, and Wyatt Thomas ’20 of New Berlin, Wisconsin, trombone
  • “Mu Phi Epsilon Creed,” by Dewey Fleszar
