Shakespeare comedy ‘Twelfth Night’ to run June 1-3 at Ripon College

What combines shipwrecks, disguises, misguided love, twins, drinking parties and song? We know that sounds like a weekend in Door County – but it’s actually the Ripon Summer Players production of Shakespeare’s great comedy “Twelfth Night or What You Will.” The play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, at and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, in Benstead Theatre, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus.

Tickets may be purchased at Ripon Drug or at the door. The cost is $8 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.

Appearing in Twelfth Night will be Mikey Ambrowiak, Katy Crane, Alex Paulson, Mackenzie Swart, Race Rohde, Maic D’Agostino, Doug Northrop, Spud Hannaford, Jim Tronoff, Robin Woods, Sam Ginkel, Andrea Young, Robert Amsden, Ben Morris, Ann Pleiss Morris, Jack Christ, Brian Reilly, Helga Rikkers, Savannah White and Jeneva Lindsey.

The play is directed by Kenneth Hill and designed by Susan McDaniel Hill. The backstage crew features Bev Christ, Sarah McGowan, Donna Marquart, Cat Jones and Karma Lamichane Gurung.

Ripon Summer Players is a joint project of the Ripon Noon Kiwanis and the Ripon College Department of Theatre. It was founded to provide quality live theatre for the community.
