Rafael Francisco Salas profiled on Wisconsin Public Television Sept. 20

“Mexican-American Artist Brings Unique Perspective Of Rural Experience,” a profile about Ripon College Associate Professor of Art Rafael Francisco Salas, will air on Wisconsin Public Television at 7 p.m. Sept. 20.

The segment is part of Wisconsin Life, hosted by Angela Fitzgerald. Salas, who also writes as an art critic for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper, discusses analyzing his own work, taking inspiration from rural America and his mixed-race identity.

Wisconsin Life is a co-production of Wisconsin Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Television.
