Paul Hausch ’13 has design work featured in New York exhibit

Paul Hausch ’13 of Madison, Wisconsin, is one of five students nationwide to be selected to have design work included in the exhibition “The Road Ahead: Reimagining Mobility” at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York.

The exhibit will run from Dec. 14 through March 31, 2019. It will feature 40 projects that explore salient topics around the future of mobility and the urban environment, selection of design responses that reimagine livable streets and the way people, goods and services will move in a new age of connected and transformational mobility.

It will highlight daily movement of pedestrians, cars, bicycles, motorbikes, trains, trams, trucks, buses and pets. Hausch’s contribution is a concept for an AirChair, to aid people with limited mobility. He will present his work at the museum in February.

Hausch majored in studio art at Ripon College. His design project was done during his time as a graduate student at Arizona State University. Check out Hausch’s website for more information about his work.
