18 Ripon students spending spring break helping flood victims in South Carolina

Eighteen Ripon College students are spending spring break assisting flood victims in Conway and Socastee, South Carolina. A story about their efforts was shared on WMBF-TV and its website on March 18.

The students are helping to rebuild homes destroyed by flooding from Hurricane Florence. One of the students, Nick Tonn ’21 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, was quoted in the story.

Mandy Kimes, a community volunteer with the student group Campus Christian Fellowship, also is quoted in the story.
