Lisa Mahnke ’92 takes on new role at Bicycle Therapeutics

Lisa Mahnke ’92 of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, was profiled in a release on the Associated Press Business Wire May 9, 2019. Mahnke has joined Bicycle Therapeutics as senior vice president and head of clinical. Bicycle Therapeutics is a biotechnology company pioneering a new class of therapeutics based on its proprietary bicyclic peptide product platform.

Mahnke has completed multiple successful investigational new drug applications and brings deep expertise in pharmaceutical development to Bicycle, including experience in clinical development, clinical pharmacology and translational medicine.

Previously, she was head of clinical development at Dragonfly Therapeutics and Syros Pharmaceuticals, and medical lead and head of clinical pharmacology at BMS, Merck, EMD Serono and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She is a licensed and prior board-certified physician in internal medicine and infectious diseases.

At Ripon College, Mahnke majored in chemistry and minored in physics.
