Lamont Colucci addresses several national audiences on future of space

Lamont Colucci, associate professor of politics and government, was scheduled during October and November to give four presentations concerning the future of space and the intersection of space, politics, and economics.

  • In October, he addressed the Commercial Spaceflight Conference at the University of Southern California concerning the “Tri-Planetary (Earth/Moon/Mars) economy” and how that relates to the United States in space.
  • He gave an address to the newly stood up U.S. Space Command about great-power conflict in space.
  • He spoke to the National Security Space Institute about Grand Strategy and the new Space Force.
  • This month, he will address another private sector or “New Space” conference in Texas concerning the role of the Space Force.
