Psychology professors present at national conference
All of the psychology faculty members — Joe Hatcher, professor and The Pieper Family Chair in Servant Leadership; Ellen Lee, assistant professor; Julia Meyers-Manor, assistant professor; and Kristine A. Kovack-Lesh, associate professor and associate dean for faculty development — attended and presented at the 42nd annual conference of the National Institute of the Teaching of Psychology this month in Florida.
Hatcher presented the poster “Just Study More? Targeting Single-Factor Thinking and Increasing Student Achievement.”
The faculty also participated in two Participant Idea Exchanges: “Maximizing Inclusivity while Teaching Sensitive Topics” included Lee, Hatcher and Meyers-Manor.
“Integration of Statistics and Research Methods in Undergraduate Psychology Curriculum” included Kovack-Lesh, Hatcher and Meyers-Manor.
