We’re still here: Allison Schloer ’20

Allison Schloer ’20 of Park Falls, Wisconsin, plans to look for opportunities in the art world after graduation in May. She also plans to continue working at Edenbrook Oshkosh, a nursing home.

She is a studio art major. “I think one thing I have most recently come to terms with at Ripon College is that I’m probably always going to be a broke artist!” she says. “I surely won’t make a bunch of money off of my art, at least I know I won’t right away. This is OK!

“Mostly because I greatly enjoy working as a dietary aide at a nursing home and have done so since high school. I really enjoy the time I spend at work and listening to whatever my residents have to tell me. This job has certainly kept me busy and sane during these crazy times.”
