We’re still here: Ryan Krogsgaard ’20

After graduation in May, Ryan Krogsgaard ’20 of Lewisville, Texas, will be entering the military full time.

“I am currently in the process of transferring from the Army National Guard to the active-duty Army,” he says. “Basically I’m going from part-time to full-time service.”

He is majoring in politics and government. He says the most important lesson he learned at Ripon is how to bounce back from setbacks and keep moving forward.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Krogsgaard says, “I am an out-of-state student who cannot go home because of the National Guard, but thankfully I have been taken in by Zaeem Kitsos, a fellow Ripon senior and brother in Theta Chi, until I get transferred.”
