We’re still here: Julia Sanchez ’20
After graduation in May, Julia Sanchez ’20 of Zion, Illinois, will return to the Waukegan Park District as a summer camp counselor. She then will seek a full-time job in the sports industry.
She is a double major in business management and exercise science: sports management.
“The most important lesson I learned at Ripon is prioritizing,” Sanchez says. “Being a student-athlete always on the go played a major role. My ‘free time’ between classes, workouts, practices and games was always homework time first before catching up on TV shows and hanging out with friends.”
While finishing the semester remotely, she says, “As I’m still transitioning from being on campus to online classes at home, I have been keeping busy with school work, enjoying family time, exercising and finding new things to do to fill free time.”
