Update from One Merriman Lane | Introducing Sage Dining Services

Dear campus community,

I am pleased to announce that the College is partnering with SAGE Dining Services® to offer improved food service beginning this fall. We selected SAGE after a competitive national process that took place during the spring.

SAGE, founded in 1990, is the leading food service provider for independent schools and private colleges throughout North America. An on-site chef will get to know our school community and design a unique menu based on our preferences.

We were impressed by SAGE’s commitment to variety, quality, and service. We are also pleased with SAGE’s attention to safety, which has become increasingly important in the wake of the current health situation. Our student life staff is working with SAGE to develop protocols that will allow students, faculty, and staff to safely enjoy meals during the academic year.

SAGE has made a commitment to delivering the college community freshly made menu items, including nourishing main dishes, fresh vegetables, salads, deli and soup options, expanded vegetarian options and more authentic cuisine from around the world.

For more information and videos about what SAGE has to offer, please visit sagedining.com.

I would like to extend a special thank you to the on-campus food service task force led by Vice President and Dean of Students Chris Ogle.

Sincerely,

Zach Messitte
President
