Camille Carlson Clemons ’00 is Alumni Trustee to the Board of Trustees

Camille Carlson Clemons ’00 of Fox River Grove, Illinois, is joining the Ripon College Board of Trustees as an Alumni Trustee. The board is meeting this week.

She started her career in operations at a global bank, then transitioned to sales in 2011. She currently is the director of business development for Cohen & Company, a public accounting firm, and is in charge of sales in to the investment industry.

At Ripon College, Clemons majored in business, with an emphasis in sports journalism, and had a minor in leadership studies. She was active with the softball team, WRPN radio, College Days student newspaper, the dark room rejuvenation project, Student Senate, as a resident assistant, and other activigties.

After Ripon, she has been active in her home community as well as in the business and sales communities.

She has remained active with the College by being an annual donor and most refcently worked as part of the reunion committee in planning her classes’s 20th reunion.

“I’ve also guest-lectured and donated books to the senior sem Econ class of 2020,” Clemons says.

Now, as part of the Board of Trustees, she says, “In addition to my interest in giving back, I believe my background in business could support the College through an extraordinary time. As part of the board, I am hopeful to collaborate with members to help navigate through this pandemic leaving a stronger institution in its wake.”
