Mollie Oblinger’s artwork featured in several venues

Associate Professor of Art Mollie Oblinger, who is on sabbatical this semester, recently had work shown in a solo exhibit at the Ridley Gallery, Sierra College, in Rocklin, California. “Invented Abundance” was an exhibition of sculpture in which she examined California’s water issues in response to the historic drought.

Her work also was included in a group exhibit at the Unity Gallery, Maharishi University of Management, in Fairfield, Iowa, which ran through April 1. “We Got Spirit, Yes We Do” was the inaugural exhibition of the complete Lovey Town Archive, comprising more than 70 artworks from past exhibitions.

Oblinger completed a residency at Playa, a retreat for creative individuals in Summer Lake, Oregon, in March.
