We want you to get the most out of your four years at Ripon. That’s why our five-course curriculum ensures you can graduate with multiple majors and minors, research and internship experience, and career-ready skills. Let’s build an academic path you’re passionate about.
SOAR (Summer Opportunities for Advanced Research)
Spend the summer immersed in your academic interests. As a SOAR participant, you will work one-on-one with a faculty member to complete a research or creative project. You’ll learn to conduct and communicate research like a pro, collaborate with peers in other programs, and lend a hand in your community.
Leadership and Honors Program
At Ripon, we offer 14 different leadership and honors programs for eligible students to expand their academic experience. From respected honors societies to field-based scholarships and fellowships, discover ways to unlock your extraordinary potential at a national level.
Career Discovery Tour
Students can expand their network over spring break with a weeklong Discovery Tour to vibrant cities across the country. Students will learn about a variety of careers directly from our alumni. Notable stops have included the floor of the NY stock exchange, NASA in Houston, Facebook Headquarters and the Dallas Cowboys football team.
Animal Cognition Lab
At Ripon College’s Animal Behavior and Cognition Lab, run by the Psychology Department, students work with dogs, cats, chickens, and even horses to explore how animals think and feel.
REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES
Barcelona Study Abroad Experience
Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Barcelona, Spain while participating in a faculty-led, semester-long study abroad experience. Course credits will count toward your Ripon degree, and you’ll depart with memories for a lifetime. Vamos!
Off-Campus Study
These are the years to expand your view of the world. Apply for an off-campus program, available every fall and spring semester, and take your liberal arts education even further—as far as Minnesota, Italy, Jamaica and Spain.
