Business & Financial Analytics

integrate approaches

The Ripon College Department of Economics and Business Management prepares students to inform and lead organizations in making and carrying out effective decisions. We collaborate on defining goals and solving problems of resource use in business, non-profit organizations, and government. We integrate approaches from economics and across the liberal arts in study of fundamentals, diverse applications, research, internships and other organizational experiences. These open doors to advanced study, lifelong learning and productive and rewarding careers.

Career Tracks

An undergraduate degree in business and financial analytics can be a path to a wide range of careers. Analysts work across many areas of business such as operations, marketing and supply chains, as well as management consulting and areas of finance such as budgets, securities and investment portfolios. Many progress into higher management roles, advancing through experience and master of business administration or analytics degrees. Our graduates’ job titles include analyst in systems integration and technology, data scientist, senior consultant, senior manager of portfolio modeling, senior provisioning analyst and senior analytics lead, as well as other roles in business management and finance.

Unique Opportunities

Senior business and financial analytics research provides students with an opportunity to integrate the skills they have developed throughout their course work in the completion of a project that requires research, data analysis, critical thinking, and oral and written presentations of information and ideas.

Creative Enterprise Consultants offer services to existing businesses, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs and not-for-profits. Services include business planning, feasibility studies, marketing plans, financials and budgets, and market research – anything to assist with the business development process.
