John Sisko
Professor of Philosophy and Chair of Philosophy and Religion,
Dr. John Sisko entered his role as vice president, dean of faculty and professor of philosophy Aug. 10, 2020. Prior to Ripon, he served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Wayland H. Cato Jr. School of Education and professor of philosophy at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience, which includes roles at The College of New Jersey, California State University, Temple University and the College of William and Mary, where he won the Junior Research Sabbatical Award. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland.
