Franzen Science Center
The newly named Franzen Science Center will be a complete renovation of the existing Farr Hall of Science and will include instrumentation upgrades, more than 19,000 square feet of new construction and 68,500 square feet of renovation and expansion. Included will be new laboratory, classroom and collaboration spaces. The space will expand the existing structure, originally built in 1961, and is designed to meet the STEM learning needs of science students today and create the flexibility to adapt to needs of the future.
