Ripon College invites applications for a full-time, 10-month internship position as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, funded in part by the NCAA’s Ethnic Minorities and Women’s Internship Grant. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in collegiate athletic communications and a desire to grow professionally within the field.
The selected candidate will report to the Director of Athletic Communications and support all aspects of promoting Ripon’s 18 varsity sports, including:
This is a one-year (10-month) position with the possibility of renewal for a second year based on performance and available funding. If selected, mandatory NCAA orientation will begin July 27-29 in Indianapolis. More details will be sent as the program nears.
In addition to NCAA base grant funding of $30,000 Ripon College will provide the intern with an additional $5000 – $15,000 in supplemental support based on experience and qualifications. Housing and food are not included.
