Associate Professor of Chemistry Patrick H. Willoughby co-authored a paper published in Nature Chemistry, the chemistry-focused subsidiary journal of Nature. The paper, “Biocatalytic asymmetric aldol addition into unactivated ketones,” describes new approaches for the enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of amino acids.
