Master of Science: Organizational Leadership

Bachelor of Arts: Organizational Communication

I have over 20+ years of higher education experience. My role within the Center for Career & Professional Development is to assist students in all aspects of their career journey. I hold several career development certifications including: Certified Global Career Development Facilitator, Certified Career Services Provider, Certified Strong Interest Inventory (SII) Assessment, Certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Certified Emotional Intelligence (EQI).  We offer free career assessments for our students.

My specialties include career assessment and exploration, resume and cover letter creation, multi-faceted job and internship search strategies, interview prep, job shadow/informational interview assistance, development of personal career action planning and goal setting, graduate school assistance, networking events, and providing career treks to various organizations. I provide 1:1 student assistance, classroom presentations, and standalone workshops in all career development areas.

Additionally, I serve as an adjunct instructor at Ripon College for a career exploration course titled, Self-Identity and the World of Work. I have also taught in the areas of Communication, Leadership Studies, First-Year Seminar, Credit for Prior Learning Seminar, Exercise Sport Science Seminar I and II, and Business Career Preparation.

My prior higher education administration experience included oversight of non-traditional academic advising, creation of non-traditional undergraduate course schedules, oversight of satellite locations, and budget management.

For fun I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, going to the theatre (Phantom of the Opera is my fav!), and spoiling our adorable rescue dog named Coach.
