What is one piece of advice you can give to a student coming into college their first year? You don’t have to have it all figured out right away, but it doesn’t hurt to start thinking. Reach out to professors, ask peers questions, and get involved in clubs and research. Everyone is here to support you!

What does a typical week look like for you? During the week, chemistry labs, classes, lots of studying, and working for the chemistry department, but once the weekend hits, going out with friends and having fun!

What is something on campus that you wished you took advantage of earlier? The open door policy with professors–they’re always willing to help!
