Join student Catalyst presenters throughout the day Wednesday

Following months of exploration, collaboration and preparation, the fall 2021 Catalyst Day will take place Wednesday. Held each fall and spring, Catalyst Day is designed to showcase Ripon College’s Catalyst curriculum and celebrate the achievements of the students who are completing the capstone seminar in Applied Innovation.

All classes will be cancelled Wednesday to encourage the campus community to attend presentation sessions throughout the day. This semester’s presentations focus on mental health, violence, criminal justice and sustainable production and consumption. A full Catalyst Day schedule complete with topics and presenters can be found here.

Keynote presenter Ali Starr will speak at 9 a.m. in Weiske Gymnasium, Willmore Center. Starr was selected to speak by the Pieper Foundation Steering Committee and will focus on the power of servant leadership through self-awareness, self-discovery, empowerment and candor. Doughnuts, coffee and hot chocolate are being served before the presentation from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Willmore atrium.
