Rep. Glenn Grothman to speak at Ripon College Oct. 5
Rep. Glenn Grothman, who represents Wisconsin’s 6th District, will speak from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, on the Ripon College campus. The talk will be held in East Hall 101 and is sponsored by the College’s Center for Politics and the People.

Grothman, who lives in the Sheboygan County town of Glenbeulah, is serving in his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives for Wisconsin’s 6th District. Prior to his election in 2014, Grothman served in the Wisconsin State Senate and State Assembly for more than 20 years.
Grothman is a lifelong Wisconsinite and serves on the House Budget Committee, Committee on Oversight & Government Reform, Education & Workforce Committee and the Joint Economic Committee.
Through his committee work, he has pursued options for making higher education more affordable, expanded educational opportunities in technical fields and continually advocates for jobs and education reform.
Grothman earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and a juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
