Anyone and all are welcome to attend and participate. Día de Los Muertos is a sacred and loving tradition. It is for these days that we can
celebrate the resilience of our ancestors who have walked on this earth before us. We also remember our loved ones who have passed away over the years. The goal of this event is to create a space to have a community celebration outside our homes. Since most of us will be working on campus these days, our student population is away from home. This tradition Día de Los Muertos, connect and reconnect with our
cultural roots and share inter-generational stories that strengthen our community and sense of
self. Día de Los Muertos holds great importance to the Latinx and indigenous communities of
indigenous territories in Latinoamérica. It is a tradition I would like to share with Ripon College & our Ripon Community. Please join us in celebrating Día de Muertos.
