Alumna cooks up some national exposure
Karen McCoy Tack ’84 of Riverside, Conn., who has written several cupcake- and cake-decorating books available on amazon.com, received national exposure recently when she created a birthday cake for Kathy Lee Gifford’s 60th birthday on the “Today” television show.
Karen shows the cake in stages on her blog. A video from the program, showing Tack judging a decorating contest between hosts Gifford and Hoda Kotb, along with a presentation of Tack’s cake, can be viewed below:
