Graduates recognized as outstanding teachers of mathematics

Three Ripon College graduates were recognized as outstanding Wisconsin teachers of mathematics at the spring meeting of the Wisconsin Mathematical Association of America, hosted at Ripon College by the Department of Math and Computer Science. They are:

  • Dave Olenchek ’87 of Brookfield, Wisconsin, chair of the math department at Hartland Arrowhead High School.
  • Heidi Hitchcock Marks, ’96 of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, who teaches at St. Croix Falls High School.
  • Cherith Treu Brown ’03 of De Forest, Wisconsin, who teaches math and theatre courses at Wisconsin Heights Middle School and High School.
