Abigail Urbina

Abi Urbina’23 is the Admission and Student Life Post Graduate Assistant. She began working in the Office of Admission as well as the Student Life office right after her graduation in May. While at Ripon College She majored in Political Science and minored in Economics. Within the Office of Admission, Abi meets with prospective students and supervises a student team. Outside of the office Abi enjoys spending time with her friends, making random tiktok recipes, and watching movies.

Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is a celebration of the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar. It is the most important holiday in China, and it is also widely celebrated in South Korea, Vietnam, and countries with a significant overseas Chinese population.

Dalila Rihn

Dalila joined Ripon recently as an Admission Counselor/Campus Event Coordinator. She is excited to be able to work with students and guide them on their college journeys. She also looks forward to seeing them and their families at the campus events she helps plan. She works with students from western Wisconsin from cities like Madison, La Crosse, and Eau Claire. She graduated from UW Oshkosh with a Psychology degree and Communications minor. Before coming to Ripon, Dalila was an Account Manager at a paint company in West Bend, WI where she learned many skills but knew she wanted to work more directly with youth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and cats. She enjoys shopping, concerts, and trying all sorts of new foods.

Social Justice Summit

The Social Justice Summit is an in-person event for Ripon College students, faculty/staff, alumni, and community members to participate in workshops and roundtable discussions surrounding a variety of social justice topics.
