Message to campus regarding student passing
A message to the campus community from President Zach Messitte:
Dear Campus Community,
It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the untimely passing of Jack Baldwin, a first-year Ripon College student from Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
This is a time of great sorrow for the entire Ripon College community. As we grieve together, please know there are a variety of services available to you.
A special meeting will be held for students tonight at 6 p.m. in Scott Hall Pink Lounge. Counseling Services staff will be available to talk with students about the feelings that they may experience in dealing with the passing of a fellow student. Additional support services will be available on Wed., 11/9, from 1-3 p.m. in Bartlett 304 with Fond du Lac County Crisis Intervention personnel. As always, Ripon College Counseling Services is available to provide support and assistance to students coping with this tragedy. Students may schedule times to meet with one of the counselors by emailing them at: Cindy Viertel, [email protected] or Emily Johnson, [email protected].
Zach Messitte
President of Ripon College
