Today is just TOO much
It is often said, “Good things come in pairs,” and today’s date offers symmetrical synchronicity for pattern lovers!
Today is 2-22-22 and falls on a TUESDAY, or should we say TWOS-DAY? Where will you be at 2:22 on 2/22/22 this Tuesday?
Feb. 22, 2022, is a palindrome date, meaning it reads the same backward and forward. Some cultures believe palindrome dates are lucky, so many couples choose them for their weddings.
- The number two symbolizes partnership and balance, but also conflict and opposition. In ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang are the two complementary forces that keep the universe in perfect balance. Without both, positive and negative could not exist. Two is the Yin number.
- Two is the smallest even number and the only even prime number, sometimes called the “oddest” even prime number.
- In numerology, the number 2 is influenced by Chandra, the Moon, and associated with relationships and partnerships.
- The earliest known systematic cult based on the rule of numbers was the Pythagoreans in the 6th century BCE. They ascribed specific numbers with mystical properties, and the number 2 was symbolic of the female principle.
The next palindrome date is 3/3/33 but that is 11 years away, so let’s enjoy today while we can.
