The exhibit will run May 18 through Sept. 8 and will provide a comprehensive snapshot of the state’s current visual art scene. ‘Showcasing artworks from across Wisconsin created over the past year, the exhibit embraces all forms of media, ideas and voices, transcending traditional boundaries to reflect the diverse and dynamic nature of contemporary art,” the museum states. This year’s exhibition features 99 works by 82 artists, representing 31 cities throughout the state.
An opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. May 18 and is free and open to the public. There is an admission charge for the exhibit itself.
