Panel discussion of book, “One Day Stronger” (about saving paper industry in Wisconsin)

This panel will discuss Outagamie County Executive, Tom Nelson’s new book, “One Day Stronger.” He tells the story of how through cooperation of labor, management and government Apple Coated paper mill while in receivership was saved from being sold off for scrap metal.
In the Introduction to the book on p. 7 Tom explains:
“The ingenuity of our legal and political strategy reflected a new three-part model of labor, management, and government working together to revitalize a troubled industry and rekindle its potential, saving the kinds of jobs that helped build the American middle class in the first place.”
Tom will be joined in the panel discussion by representatives of management and labor who were involved in the project to save the paper mill.
Professor Soren Hauge will moderate the panel.
