Class of 2022: Cassie Behreandt ’22

We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.

Cassie Behreandt ’22 of Wittenberg Wisconsin, majored in psychology with a minor in educational studies. She plans to attend graduate school to become a school psychologist.

“The most important lesson that I have learned from my time at Ripon College is to take chances and try something new every chance you get,” she says. “If something interests you, try it out. You never know you won’t like something if you don’t try it. Also it is very good to trust your instincts and intuition.”

She adds, “A special memory that will always stick with me is me and my roommate Brianna Bembenek ’22 putting posters all over in our campus apartment. The posters were of Makaila Weddle ’22’s face cropped onto Lightning McQueen. We put quotes on them such as Quicker than Quick, Faster than Fast.

“We did this because we just watched her break a track and field school record. We were both so proud of Makaila and we thought it would be funny to post them everywhere in the apartment for her to see when she got back.”
