Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra

November 13th: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm @ Willmore Field House

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra will return to the Ripon College campus for a free performance presented by the Caestecker Fine Arts Series Endowment and the first family of Ripon College, Vickie and Dick Folse.

For more than 45 years, annual performances at Ripon College have been offered as a thank-you to the community. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first time since 2019 that the orchestra is appearing at Ripon College. The performances are supported by Honorary Life Trustee Thomas E. Caestecker, who passed away on Oct. 6, 2022.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is Wisconsin’s largest cultural organization. The performance at Ripon will be conducted by Music Director Ken-David Masur. Selections are “Night Ride and Sunrise,” Opus 55, a symphonic poem by Jean Sibelius; “Academic Festival Overture,” Opus 80, by Johannes Brahms; and Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Opus 55, “Eroica,” by Ludwig van Beethoven.

No tickets are required.
